*41.86 lakh women of the state are benefiting from Shakti scheme.
*Everyone has started availing the benefits of Shakti irrespective of their religion and caste.
*Economy will be boosted if there is money in the pockets of the poor and middle class.
If there is money in the pockets of the poor and middle class,the economy of the state will be boosted.Money in the pockets of the rich will not benefit the economy .
So we will put money in the pockets of the poor and the middle class through guarantee schemes,”said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
He was addressing a press conference in Vidhana Soudha conference hall after launching the ambitious ‘Shakti’ scheme.
The BJP, which only cares for the rich,cannot stand our concern for the poor.Our aim is to alleviate the suffering of people.
In just 20 days after taking the oath,the first guarantee was implemented and all the women of the state have started availing the benefits.Shakti scheme has been launched simultaneously in the state,he said.
In these 20 days,the BJP has only spreading lies.We were not deterred.Our goal was to keep our promise and we did it.
The scheme is named Shakti with the objective of empowering women.The progress of the country is not possible without women who constitute 50 % of the country’s population being partners in development. Women participation in India is low.He said that this amount should be increased.
If the government favors the poor and the middle class, the BJP creates confusion through lies.The media should not join hands with the BJP to create more confusion.
As per the recommendation of the previous BJP government,the electricity tariff has been increased earlier.However,the BJP is spreading lies that we have increased the electricity rates,the Chief Minister criticized.
Deputy Chief Minister,D.K.Shivakumar,Transport Minister,Ramalingareddy,Energy Minister,K.J George, Legislative Council Chief Whip,Prakash Rathore, MLC Nagaraja Yadav, Congress leaders Revanna,U.B Venkatesh and others were present in the meeting.
