No one can provide justice to the people,if the last man in the society is not heard

* Judgments of Justice B.Veerappa have increased people’s trust and confidence in the judicial system :CM Siddaramaiah.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Life becomes worth while only when we act according to our conscience, when we are in higher positions.

Justice B.Veerappa has made his life and career worthwhile by delivering justice.

He was speaking at the farewell function of Justice B. Veerappa organized by the Bangalore Bar Association at the Vidhana Soudha Banquet Hall.

The CM said that ‘I was the Chief Minister even when B. Veerappa became the Judge.I am the chief minister even during his retirement’,he noted.

When we reach high position,we must serve people sincerely,only then the dignity of that position increases.

Only those who are aware of the society,who understand life,who have experienced the hardships of the people,and who can empathize can uphold the dignity of the high position,the CM opined.

B.Veerappa has won the love of the lawyers through his efficiency and honesty and the presence of the large number of lawyers here is the proof,he said.

Weaker sections cannot go to higher courts.Therefore, justice should be provided to the weaker sections at the lower level.

B.Veerappa has given valuable judgments in this regard.The CM said that these judgement are role models for junior lawyers.
