The construction of 8,000 classrooms and recruitment of 17,000 teachers in the Education Department have happened in the incumbent BJP Government without any scandal.
In the Siddaramaiah Government, those who did not apply for teachers’ posts were appointed and indulged in a big scam, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at the roadshow in support of the Tiptur BJP candidate B.C.Nagesh near KB Cross on Sunday, the CM said in the Congress Government, corruption took place even in the purchase of mattresses and pillows for SC/ST students.

The Bhagya Lakshmi scheme introduced by the B.S.Yediyurappa government helped 30 percent of the minority women.
The previous CM, Yediyurappa added Rs 4000 to farmers under the Kissan Sanman scheme.The BJP government implemented the Raitha Vidyanidhi, free 75 units of power to SC/ST units, free education for the girl students, and others.
The BJP candidate must be elected by a margin of 25000 votes as he has brought the Hemavathi water to this region besides bringing grants worth crores of rupees.
Later, talking in Tiptur, the CM said thanks to the implementation of the Golur and Honnalli Lift Irrigation schemes, every village had been supplied with drinking water under the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme.
In the State,25 lakh houses had been given tap water in the last 70 years but after the BJP government came to power, 40 lakh houses got water connections within three years.
This would not have been possible if Congress was in power.Our government has announced a number of programs for farmers, children of fishermen, and others.
Bommai said the Congress party promised 10 kg rice, Rs 2000 for every woman, and 200 free units of power to SC/ST families but people have don’t faith in them.
