West Bengal Ram Navami clash; accused Sumit Sau arrested from Munger ,Bihar

AbhijitRay,Kolkata:Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee tweeted a video of a young man holding a gun and dancing ina Ram Navami procession in Howrah. The sameyouth is being arrested from Munger in Bihar by the Detective Branch of Howrah Police. He will be taken to court on Wednesday. At present, the CID is investigating the disturbances in the Ram Navami procession and the subsequent events. Unprecedented unrest has taken place across the country over the Ram Navami procession. The same thing happened in Howrah, Bengal. Abhishek Banerjee tweeted a video of the march. There it was seen that a young man was seen dancing in the procession and was holding a gun. At a press conference after the incident, Abhishek showed the video and claimed that the police will arrest him wherever he hides. The Howrah police arrested the accused from Bihar for a week. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Sumit Sau, originated from Bihar, age  19. T house is in Shambhu Halder Lane under Mali Panchghara police station in Howrah. Sumit escaped to Bihar after dancing in the procession with a gun.Police investigated and found that he was hiding at a relative’s house in Munger. Accordingly, the detectives arrested him from Munger.Cid is investigating the Howrah incident. The Detective Branch of Howrah Police will hand over Sumit to CID division for further processing. He will be produced in court on Wednesday.
