“We are witnessing an agricultural renaissance with the most ancient crop of the world becoming the present and the future crop,” said Mr. G. Kamala Vardhana Rao, Chief Executive Officer, FSSAI, setting the context for the Millet Walkathon and Mela Delhi 2023.
“Millet & Swachhata Walkathon is a great initiative. MCD is proud to be a partner in this event.
We all need to make changes in our lifestyle for a healthy living. Just as millets is a healthy option, a total fitness cannot be achieved if sanitation is not taken care of. We all should segregate our waste, say no to single-use plastic and help MCD in keeping our surroundings clean. These habits along with adopting healthy food and exercising, surely will keep us fit and healthy,” quoted Ms. Ankita Mishra, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Sadar Paharganj Zone, Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
