Tripura is suffering only because of the apathy of the Cable control room

Agartala: Only the cable service has stopped. No reformation initiatives can be observed. At present, many channel authorities do not want to run cable news. Instead, channel owners are facing losses. Several channels including Fantacy Tv National channels are not telecasting in Tripura for about four to five years on cable lines. That means the cable service is completely off. A part from Fantacy Tv these include Hallabol, Janata Kanth, Dinraat Channel, 24 News, Gomati Tv, Social Bangla etc. Even after a long time, there is no “hel dol” only the authorities. In this regard, the Secretary of Indian News Broadcasting Journalists Union and one of the Editors of the owner of Fantacy, Banibrata Datta said that if you want to broadcast on cable Tv in Tripura, you have to pay a lot of money. There is also a political conspiracy in this. It is never possible to meet only the demands of the owners. Rather, in all these cases the intervention of the Trie Administration and the Broadcasting Ministry or the Government of India is required. According to him many local or national and international channels are not seen on cable Tv for years. This leaves the general public effectively deprived of certain services despite paying monthly subscription fees to cable operators year after year. In this situation, many channels like Fantacy Tv, Tripura divition are deprived of proper services and government advertising and news workers/journalists are deprived of proper dues and accreditation cards.
