Rice Pulling scam racket busted by CCB Eight Scamsters arrested Recovered Rs.35.3 lakhs

The CCB officials on Wednesday busted a cheating gang and arrested a group of eight men who are cheating gullible people by rice pulling scam.

The accused has been identified as,Rajesh,36,who was leading the gang and his associates,Mohammed Ghouse Pasha,52,Stephen,38,Sahil,35,Srinivas,35,Vikas Dharamarao,27,Kumar Shivalingappa,29 and Srinivasan Vijayan,42 .

The accused would lure people in the name of rice pulling machines which are believed to detect precious metal,enabling one to make easy money.

Give them demo of a vessel with special power which can pull rice and precious metals.The gang would convince the people that keeping the vessel at home would get positive vides and prosperity and sell it to lakhs of rupees.

Using the modus operandi the accused had cheated many people and made away with lakhs of rupees.

Based on a complaint, a team of police,track down the accused and arrested them.

The police have also recovered 35,30,000 from them and a case has been booked in Halasuru against them charging under cheating and fraud.
