A 22-year-old student of a private college attempt to end life by jumping from the Ramadevara Betta in Ramanagar On Wednesday evening.
The victim (Esha Prasad),pursuing BSc in psychology at Christ university was under depression due to exam pressure .
On Wednesday she reached Ramadevara Beta and in an attempt to end her life,she jumped from the rock but got stuck into the branch of a tree and injured.
The locals along with the security personnel rushed to her rescue and admitted her to the hospital where she is being treated.
The Ramanagar rural police said that the victim has escaped with minor injuries and said to be out of danger.
