Lokayukta traps BBMP Health Inspector taking Rs. 18,000 bribe from Spa Owner
Lokayukta officials on Saturday trapped and arrested a BBMP health officer red handed while he was accepting a bribe from a spa owner to renew his license.
Based on the complaint,a team led by,DSP,Umadevi R, Police Inspector,Srikanth and his team swung into action the team laid a successful trap in which they caught the accused Ramaiah,red handed at his office at CV Raman Nagar while accepting Rs.18,000 from Subramanya.
During investigation it was found that Ramaiah had demanded Rs.20,000 from Subramanya to renew the trade license for his welness Spa,situated in Indiranagar,100 feet Road and after negotiation the amount was brought down to Rs.18,000.
He has been booked under PC Act and taken into custody for further investigations.
Finally senior lokayukta officials appreciated DSP,Umadevi R,PI Srikanth and team as,Ganga Rudraiah staff,HC,s Yogish, Lokesh,Prathap,Pandu, WPC’s Shwetha, & Pavithra KLA Bangalore for their succesful trapped them .
