The Yelahanka new town police are on the lookout for a gang which gained entry into the BMTC depot and escaped after stealing 167 liters of diesel from the parked BMTC buses at the depot on Sunday.
Based on the complaint filed by,Ramesh,the depot in-charge the police are on the lookout for the gang .
In his complaint Ramesh said that he was on routine check up where he found fuel spill under the tanks of few BMTC buses .
Ramesh inspected closely and the trail led him to the compound with a mark of diesel on the compound.He checked to find hundreds of liters of fuel have been stolen from many buses and alerted the police .
