Shamshabad: Customs officials seized a huge amount of gold at the city’s Shamshabad airport. Special arrangements were made under the shoe and passengers were detained for transporting gold illegally. Around 15 kg of gold was seized from 23 passengers from Sudan. The value of gold is around Rs. Customs officials said that it will be 7.90 crores. Officials said that four accused have been arrested and the rest are being interrogated. Hyderabad Customs officials said that this is the highest amount of gold seized in recent times.
