he RM Nagar police have arrested a 46-year-old man who bludgeoned his wife to death with a dumbell before calling the police control room to inform about the incident on Thursday.
The accused Morris Manohara,resident of Hoysala street in RM Nagar is a technician at a private telecom company.
The accused married to Lydia,44,18 years ago and the couple have three children.Inquiries with the neighbors revealed that the couple used to fight frequently over domestic row .
Senior officer told reporters,the incident occurred in the morning after the children left to school.Following a verbal altercation,the accused attacked her with dumbell hitting her repeatedly and killing her on the spot .
He later called the police control room and gave led them to the house and narrated what happened.The police found Lydia in a pool of blood and shifted her body for post-mortem.
The police taken Morris into custody to probe the reason behind the murder.
