Inauguration of Hampi Utsav;Govt commited to building Nava Karnataka with the values of Vijayanagar-CM Bommai

C hief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said the government is committed to building Nava Karnataka with the values of the most prosperous Vijayanagar kingdom and adopting it to the present day requirements.

Speaking after inaugurating the Hampi Utsav here on Friday,he said this utsav reflects the past glory of Karnataka.This is one of the kingdoms that ruled the state that changed the Indian history.

The Hampi Utsav was started by M.P.Prakash and he had participated in the first utsav.Ministers Anand Singh and B.Sriramulu have organised this festival in a grand scale.This is a sacred land.

This utsav had been opened by his predecessor B.S.Yediyurappa with a view to display the past glory of the stayey.In the next three days there will be the display of the rich cultural Heritage.

This is the first utsav after the creation of the new district.Every stone will tell a story.Let this festival highlights the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom.

Our government will provide all facilities to the visiting tourists to Hampi.More facilities will be provided by taking permission from the Archeological survey of India.The Hampi Circuit in North Karnataka and Mysuru Circuit will be started in South Karnataka soon.

The government has given Rs.120 crore for the development of Anjanadri Betta and foundation stone will be laid within two weeks to provide various facilities.

Minister Anand Singh is striving for the development of the new district and it will be a model district if all long vision schemes are implemented.
