Four Minors,Wheelie Wonkers booked by Kamakshipalya Traffic police

In an effort to enforce discipline and contain bikers performing stunts on the road, the West Division Traffic police launched a special drive to keep an eye on the violators.

On Monday they caught four minor boys who were performing stunts on busy NICE road and on outer ring road.

Senior officer told reporters that since the offenders are minor their parents have been summoned and slapped a fine and also booked cases under various sections of the security act and seized the bikes .

Performing bike stunts not only amounts to violations of traffic rules and not following road discipline but also endanger the lives of other road users, officer, said .

The traffic police have been directed to step up the vigil especially on the ring roads,NICE roads,flyovers and highways and take strict action against them.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy,Special Commissioner Traffic,Dr MA Saleem, Joint CP Traffic,MN Anucheth,has appreciated DCP Traffic West,Kuldeep Kumar R Jain,ACP,Traffic West, Gopalkrishna Gowda,PI,Harish B,and special squad staff as,Mohan Gowda,Srinivas,Daddavali,Mahadevappa,Karbasappa,Pappegowda, Mohiuddin Pasha, appreciated for the exemplary work done by them in nabbing the wheelie wonkers who endangers others life with their dangerous stunts a special reward will be given to whole team he added.
