Mamata Banerjee gave investment message at the opening of the G-20 meeting; Bengal is the ‘Gateway” for North-East.

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata :India is going to chair the G20 summit for the first time. Before that,earlier on Monday, Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee opened the discussion meeting of the G-20 conference at Kolkata. The main topic of discussion was the digital finance system. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chief Minister invited everyone from India and abroad to come to Bengal. On this day, she said, ‘Bangla is the center of India’s culture. Bengal is the gateway to the North-East.Besides, Bengali is the gateway to Bhutan, Nepal, China, Thailand, Myanmar. So come to our kingdom and you all cordially invited to come to our country. The Chief Minister of Bengal sent a  message of unity. Mamata Banerjee said, ‘This country is my country and it is your country too. The whole world is our motherland. That is our main mantra. She said, “It is important to develop people.”Guests from different states of India and abroad has come to  Kolkata to attend the conference since Sunday, January 8. Apart from G20 member countries, representatives of European Union member countries, Asian Development Bank, NABARD, World Bank and International Monetary Fund also attended the conference. Two parts of G-20. One is the Finance track and the other is the Sherpa track. One of the finance tracks is GPFI. GPFI meeting started today in Kolkata.
