The Electronic city police on Sunday arrested a couple who killed a man over illicit affair and carried in a motorcycle to disposed the body.
The accused have been identified as Reena and Gangesh a couple from Uttar Pradesh and working as labourers.
Senior officer told reporters that Reena would have an affair with her neighbour,Nibashish pal who would started harassing her to “cooperate with his friends too.
Unable to bear harassment,Reena confessed to his husband Gangesh about the affair and sought his help to get ride of Pal.
The duo decided to eliminate pal and hatched a plan.As per the plan Reena invited Pal home for a party and offered him liquor and served him dinner laced with Marijuana seeds.
Soon Pal fell unconscious following which Reena strangled him to death using her veil.Gangesh borrowed a motorcycle from his friend Bijoy and carried the body to an isolated place and dumped on roadside .
The accused returned home and soon vacated the house and went to Shikaripura to settle there.
Meanwhile the Electronic city police who recovered the body began to investigate and found the CCTV footage from in and around where the couple carrying the dead body in a motorcycle .
They trace the bike and questioned the owner Bijoy before arresting the couple from Shikaripura.
The couple have been booked under murder while Bijoy was booked for abetting the crime and further investigation is on.
