Legitimacy for ‘adult’ occupations?
Today, Amaravati
Annabattina Ramesh from Vijayawada bought a flat and got it registered after paying a fee of Rs.12 lakhs. The ward volunteer came to him and asked him to give the flat papers and said that they are conducting a survey under ‘YSR Jagananna Perpetual Land Rights and Land Protection Scheme’. He was forcefully given a notice for not being able to do so.
The government is preparing to tax the urban dwellers in the name of land survey. They are asking for the house plan approval documents along with the house plan approval documents.
* Those who have a flat in the apartment will do some registration of the place. Actually the builder or the land owner will have the details. But asking the owners who bought it. The question is how to determine the boundaries for them.
* Ward Planning Secretary, Admin Secretary, Amenities Secretary and VRO should conduct the survey program jointly. But volunteers are being sent to collect property documents.
* Notices have been issued to 2,000 people under urban land ceiling in Vijayawada city that they have already set up residences on government land and surplus land. It is mentioned in the notices that Rs.crore should be paid for regularization of these. As they all approached the court, the dispute has been settled for now.
* Notices are being issued to pay vacant land tax on vacant plots. Many have hurriedly constructed foil sheds and applied for house numbers. Violations in the construction of the house will come to light in this survey. The difference in setback and construction area is huge.
* Municipal officials will reassess the property tax after collecting the details through the drone.
* Most of the areas are in non-layout area. They are charged additional fees at the time of plan approval. The sector is ready to collect land transfer fee from those who do not pay.
* With the expansion of the town, the houses that were formerly in residential areas have now become commercial areas. Commercial shops have also sprung up in residential areas. But the taxes of the residential areas are being paid. Right now it’s badu badu.
* Residences should not be established in industrial areas either. But the flats allotted to the units have come up as apartments. It is doubtful how they were given permission.
* There is an argument behind this survey that some ruling party leaders are implementing a plan to legitimize their occupation.
* The leader of civic association CH Baburao demanded that there are doubts about the land survey in the towns.
Resurvey like this..
WmIt is known that the government has announced that it is conducting a resurvey of agricultural lands and purification of records after years. The resurvey of these lands is to be completed by December 2023. But due to various reasons in the villages, at least 10 percent has not been completed so far. YSR Jagananna has finalized the name of ‘Permanent Land Rights, Bhurraksha’ for this survey which is being conducted under the auspices of Survey of India. Due to this, the boundary disputes in the agricultural lands in the villages will be resolved. Some are going to court. Borders are covered with stones.. Revenue records will be created by new RSR. Before this, the survey teams under the VRO will go to the villages and give notices to the farmers and conduct the survey with the respective dates. After the preliminary survey, photographs will be taken by drone and boundaries will be identified plot wise and any differences will be resolved. This happens to varying degrees.
