The Indiranagar police have come across an unusual incident and recovered the body of a habitual offender found hanging at the pooja room of the house where he went to steal valuables on Thursday.
The Deceased has been identified as Dileep Bahadur,native of Assam and habitual house-break offender.
Senior officer told reporters,it was found that Dileep broke into the house of Sridhar Samanthroy,a software engineer at a city base IT Firm and staying in 6th main.
The family had gone to Europe on holiday for week and Dileep after receeing the house gained entry into the house sand searched the house for valuables.
While he was inside the house, the family returned and found the front door was jammed and locked from inside .
They called the key maker to opened the lock.Dileep who was stuck inside the house with no option to escape,ended his life by hanging at the pooja room.
The family opened the door and found the furniture and articles were disturbed.With the help of security personnel the family members searched the premises and opened the pooja room to find the body of Dileep.
The Indiranagar police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe before shifting the body for Post mortem.
The deceased had a similar case pending against in in 2006 in JB Nagar.The police have taken up a case of suspicious death are further investigating the case.
