Special efforts for the development of ESIC medical college

ESIC Medical College in Sanatnagar was built and not started for a long time. In this order, Dr. Srinivas, who is in AIIMS, was appointed as the Dean of ESIC Medical College on February 9, 2016. Then he took the initiative to allocate 100 MBBS seats to that college for the first time. Srinivas’ efforts to give the children of ESI insured workers an opportunity to opt for the medical profession have borne fruit. Efforts have been made to allocate 35% MBBS seats to the children of ESI insured workers in the country. Now another 25 EWS quota seats have been brought. Dr. Srinivas has completed PG courses in 16 departments and super specialty courses in 5 other departments in ESIC Medical College. After he assumed responsibility, he ensured that all superspecialty medical services were provided here.

To work on a bicycle..

Dr. Srinivas’s wife Dr. Aruna is also working as a Gynecologist at ESIC Hospital. Their only son has recently joined a degree course in Bangalore. The fact that Srinivas, who lives in Sanatnagar JK Colony, attends work on a bicycle every day is a proof of his modesty.

Ordinary life.. Extraordinary achievements

It is remarkable that Dr. Srinivas, who likes to work hard and live a simple life, was appointed the prestigious AIIMS director post in Delhi without his application. Hailing from Hyderabad, his ancestors settled in Mysore, Karnataka a long time ago. Srinivas, who continued his education in Bellary, completed MBBS and MS (General Surgery) there. Later he joined AIIMS in Delhi and rose to the rank of professor.
