Man bludgeoned to death by friend over property row accused arrested by KP Agrahara Police

39-year-old man bludgeoned to death over property row near his house on Magadi road in the early hours of Monday.

The deceased has been identified as, Balakrishna,resident of KP Agrahara.

Senior officers as,DCP West, Laxman B Nimbargi, ACP,P Ravi,PI, Subramani,PSI,Jignesh with crime staff rushed to the spot to insepct the spot and after collecting information from the eye witness and neighbours.

DCP West, Laxman B Nimbargi said,the deceased Balakrishna was one among the six siblings having a property row with his elder brother over the share of ancestral house .

He even said it has found that the deceased had a difference with his sister-in-law over the share of property and used ot have frequent fights.

The accused identified as Naveen Rao,employee with a travel firm,is a friend of deceased nephew and used to support them to fight against Balakrishna.

On Sunday late night,Naveen Rao confronted Balakrishna and they both a heated arguments ensued.

In the melee,Naveen Rao attacked Balakrishna with a cement brick continuously and as there was a huge sound neighbours came out and saw the deceased was lying in pool of blood immediately all came out and called the control room immediately Hoysala patrolling police rushed to the spot and secured the accused before fleeing.

The Severely injured Balakrishna was rushed to Victoria hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later.Based on the complaint, the police arrested Naveen Rao and further investigating as what is the reason behind the murder as both the deceased and accused know each other who stays just 50 metres away in the same area a thorough investigation will be done by KP Agrahara police inspector he added.
