Samarkand: Due to the Corona virus epidemic on the one hand and the war in Ukraine on the other hand, food and fuel crises have arisen all over the world. Prime Minister Modi called upon the regional alliance countries to cooperate with each other to maintain better transport systems at a time when these are causing serious disruptions to the supply chain. Addressing the member countries at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO Summit) held in Uzbekistan, Modi said that progress is being made in making India a manufacturing hub in the world.
The world is facing the covid-19 pandemic. Along with this, due to the crisis in Ukraine, there are many disruptions to the world’s supply systems. In this context, SCO should focus on better connectivity and barrier-free transport systems. Prime Minister Modi said that India fully supports mutual trust and cooperation between the alliance countries in this regard. The Prime Minister made these comments indirectly stating that Pakistan is obstructing India’s efforts to supply goods to war-torn Afghanistan. He said that India, which is promoting innovation in every field, is ready to work with SCO countries as well.
India is the center of innovation.
“We are focusing on the public centric development model. We support innovation in every field. Currently, there are 70 thousand startups and more than a hundred unicorn companies in the country. This year India’s growth rate is estimated at 7.5 percent. I am happy to say that India is one of the fastest growing major economies in the world. Prime Minister Modi explained that we are making great progress in traditional medical treatment. In this regard, he reminded that the World Health Organization has recently opened an International Center for Traditional Medicine in Gujarat.
