A 28-year-old scooter rider was killed in a hit and run case reported on Mutyalamma flyover on MES ring road in the wee hours of Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as,Sachin Hebbare
Senior officer with Jalahalli traffic cops rushed to the spot and inspected the accident spot and after collecting information said,the rider was riding towards Hebbal when the accident occurred at around 2.30 am.
The Jalahalli traffic police suspect that the unidentified vehicle knock down the scooter and ran over him killing him on the spot .
Passers-by who noticed the accident alerted the police who rushed to the spot shifted the body to MS Ramaiah hospital for post-mortem.
The police are now gathering the CCTV footage from in and around the area to identify the killer vehicle.
