BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali Verbally Abuses A Woman For Raising Complaint,Woman booked under land revenue act, Disaster management Act

JP MLA Aravind Limbavali behaving rudely with a woman when she tried to hand over a complaint letter to him and speak to him regarding issues in Varthur,Bengaluru following heavy rainfall.

The incident went viral on social media leading to huge criticism following which,Partha Sarathi, Revenue Inspector,whitefield division,filed a complaint with the police against the woman charging him under various sections of Karnataka Land Revenue Act,Disaster Management Act and also under section 427 (mischief) 447 (criminal trespass) and section 353 (Assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty) on Thursday.

In his complaint,Mr.Partha Sarathi said that the accused woman identified as Ruth Sagai Mari her husband Vinay Prabhu,her son and others confronted him and the BBMP officials and stopped the work when they were removing the encroachment on storm water drain at R Narayanapura which caused flooding in whitefield due to heavy rains .

The accused not only misbehaved with the officials but also created ruckus and tried to disturb law and order situation.

The incident was reported to the Tahsildar who directed him to file a complaint.

Encroachment of storm water drain caused flooding in the whitefield and caused major embarrassment to the ruling party.

Mr. Limbavali,who was inspecting the affected area confronted the woman and misbehaved with her accusing her of encroachment and responsible for the mess and asked the police to take legal action.

However his behavior with the woman was critisised by people and the opposition congress party leaders.

Few days ago,Mr.Limbavali’s daughter was also seen misbehaving and abusing police officials and behaved rudely with journalist who was trying to film the whole incident.
