The KG Halli police arrested a group of six
persons including a B com student for allegedly stabbing a 18-year-old PU student to death over a trivial row during cultural fete at their college on Friday.
The accused has been identified as,Mohammad Saad,20,Saafanulla Khan,20,Zainullah Khan,19, Syed Faizal,19,Anaz Khan,20,Ziyad Khan,19.
Senior officer told reporters,Saad,pursing 1st year Bcom at a private college in HBR Layout was participated in a dance competition at the cultural fete at the college .
The deceased Mohammed Arbaaz reportedly teased him during the show which irked Saad.
The next day Saad accompanied by his friends confronted Arbaz and his friends and had a heated argument between the two groups outside the college .
In the melee the accused stabbed Arbaaz and his friend Siraj and fled the scene.
The profusely bleeding Arbaaz and Siraj were rushed to hospital where he was declared as brought dead,while Siraj was recovering at the hospital.
Based on the complaint,the KG Halli police have registered a case of murder and attempt to murder and track down the accused Saad and six of his associates on Tuesday.
During investigation it was found Arbaz was the eldest son to his parents.while father is a tailor his mother is a homemaker.
