Five Notorious Inter-state drug peddlers arrested by Anti-Narcotics Wing CCB Seized Synthetic Drugs Worth Rs.2 Crore.

T he Anti Narcotics Wing of the CCB on Tuesday busted an inter state drug racket and arrested five persons running the racket.

The accused has been identified as, Himanshu Thakur,Vishal Kumar Singh,Sagar Mehta, Mahabali Singh, and Sukhjeet Singh.

Senior officer told reporters,the Anti-Narcotics wing CCB police inspector received a tip off that some miscreants have stored huge quantity of Synthetic Drugs in a Paying guest accommodation and are supply drugs through delivery apps and dark web to their clients.

Acting on tip off team of officials led by DCP Crime-2,BS Angadi,ACP,Ramachandra B,PI,BS Ashok Kumar and his crime staff swung into action and conducted a secret operation and raided a PG in Marathahalli and Whitefield police station limits.

The team raided the paying guest accommodation where five persons hailing from Delhi has rented a room to store synthetic drugs we found in investigation during search we arrested all the accused and seized Rs.two crore worth synthetic drugs from them which they have stored in rooms of Paying guest accommodation and supplying drugs through deliver apps.

During investigation it was revealed that they were peddling the drugs from Paying guest through Dunzo and porter delivery app,since September 2021.

The team seized Synthetic drugs including, MDMA,LSD,cocaine,Hashish,Charas,ecstasy and high quality of Marijuana from the Paying guest accommodation in Marathahalli and whitefield .

A detailed Investigations revealed that the accused are unemployed graduate from Delhi and Bihar who were recruited through Locanto by their handler who is operating from Delhi .

The accused had placed the Ad on locanto with a tittle “If you want earn respect with money and also willing to do anything for it-Contact me”to get local peddlers for Delhi,Bengaluru,Mumbai and Chennai where he was operating at present .

The accused offered them food and accommodation with a salary of Rs.50,000 per month with a job of packing the drugs neatly in a gift wrapper and also under the pretext of medicine and handle with care stickers.

The prime accused who is yet to be arrested is sourcing the drugs from darknet and paying through crypto currency.

The consignment he is getting parceled to the PGs which he had taken on rent through international courier agencies and sometime through Indian postal services .

The racket is so systematic that there was no direct contact between the five arrested and the customers.

The customers would contact the peddlers through telegram,messanger,instagram,Briar, Confdide and session apps and deliver the drugs through delivery apps after payment is made through google or Gpay.

The Narcotics Wing led by inspector Ashok BS, while probing a drug case stumbled upon the information from an addict and sourced the information from Instagram,Dunzo,Porter and from bank concerned where the transactions was made,before zeroing in on the accused .

The team are now on the lookout for the prime accused who is on the run efforts are on to track him down while all the five accused have been booked under NDPS act and further investigation is on.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Joint CP Crime, Raman Gupta,DCP Crime-2,BS Angadi,ACP,ANW, Ramachandra B,PI,BS Ashok Kumar,and crime staff as,Shivappa Kudachi,Shahnur Raanmalle,Ramesh,Prakash,Dyvarsaya,and Mallikarjun has been appreciated for the exemplary and meticulous Excellent work done by them in busting the inter-state drug syndicate and recovering huge quantity of Synthetic Drugs from them a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
