n a swift action,the Hennur police rescued a 11-year-old boy who was kidnapped by a woman and her brother-in-law for ransom .
The accused has been identified as,Mangitha from Bihar a prime accused in the case and her associates as,Durga and Gourav Singh.
The police cracked the case within 3.5 hours after the parents approached the police with the complaint.
Appreciating the quick action of his team,DCP East Division,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,said that the victim,a 5th standard student,son of a BMTC driver was kidnapped while he was playing outside his house in Hennur on Tuesday evening .
The victim was playing in font of his house when the accused identified as Divya Durga approached him luring him with chocolates.
During the conversation she got to know that the boy wanted to learn swimming and she promised to take him to the swimming pool,she knew and help him to learn swimming.
Excited with the offer,the boy agreed and Durga took him in an auto as per the plan to Jigani and handed him over to the prime accused Gourav Singh,a security guard,working in a AR farm house inn Jigani .
The accused threatened the boy and locked him in a the farm house and taking the telephone number from him called the mother of the boy to inform that he the boy was kidnapped and demanded Rs.50 lakh ransom.
The accused even threatened the couple that he would harm the boy if they complain to police.
Initially the police scared and later approached the police with a complaint.The police swung into action and two special teams have been formed .
While one team started analyzing the technical details like CCTV footage to identify the accused, the police team track down the phone from where the call was made.
A team headed by ACP,NS Sakri located the call to the farm house and rushed along with a team .
The farm house spread across three acres and high rise walls building across the property, where the accused Gourav Singh was living with his family as care taker .
The police used the police vehicle to scale the walls and jumped inside to pin down the accused and rescued the boy.
The boy was reunited with the family.He was under shock as the accused had threatened to kill him to keep him silent and without fuss,Mr. Guled said .
The accused Divya Durga,sister-in-law of Gourav Singh, (45) and said to have got the information about the boy through her friend,who worked as domestic help in the area.
The police have detained Durga and efforts are on now on the look out for the domestic help who helped Durga.
On Friday Morning the Hennur police arrested the prime accused Mangitha hailing from Bihar and during interrogation she said that as she was pregnant and for the medical expenses she hatched a plan and kidnapped the child who was neighbours and Durga works as domestic help all the three has been arrested Guled said.

Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,ACP,Ningappa B Sakkari,PI,M Vasanth Kumar,PSIs,as,Ningaraju,Basavaraj Jogale,ASIs,as,Pratap,Askar Mirza,and whole crime team who were part of this detection with their meticulous and exemplary investigation landed the kidnappers in police net and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
