Manipur governor felicitates Karate Coach Saoibam Bindeshori Chanu at Raj Bhavan for set a Indian Book of Records.

A young women karate coach form Manipur, who has been working for women empowerment and youth development from last two decades by providing free karate and self defence training for girls.

Ms Soibam Bindeshori Chanu was the First Indian women who got coach licence in both Kumite and kata Catagory by the World Karate Fedaration has set a National Record in the Indian Book of Records.

Ms Soibam Bindeshori Chanu was felicitated by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur Sri La Ganeshan for her achievement despite of all odds.

Handing over the Medal and certificate of Indian Book of Records at Rajbhavan, Imphal on Friday ( 27-011-2022) , the governor said the girl’s achievement in Karate has become a source of inspiration for youths across the country.

Governor of Manipur felicitated her in presence of her parents , coach Mutum Bankim Singha and Dr. Monojit Singha, National Executive Secretary of Newspaper Association of India.

Soibam Bindeshori is the instructor of the International Shito-Ryu Karate Fedaration, a referee commission member of Manipur Amature Karate Do Association and North East Karate Do Association. She is also a Vice Chairman, Women Commission of Karate India Organization.
