delegation led by former president of Advocates Association met city police commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy and filed a complaint demanding action against Rohith Chakrathirtha,chairman of textbooks review committee,for his remarks against Rastrakavi Kuvempu and against Nadageethe.
Speaking to the media after the meeting,AP Ranganath,said that the comment made by Rohith on social media in 2017 has been shared and circulated against witt an intention to bring communal disharmony which amount to criminal offence.
Mr.Ranganath also mentioned the name of Rohith Associate identified as Lakshman Akashe Karkala for using unparliamentary words against Rastrakavi Kuvempu and demanded penal action against him for disturbing the peace and provoke the breach of peace .
Mr.Ranganath demanded the government to sack remove Rohith from his post and warned to intensify the protest if the government failed to do so.
