The RR Nagar police on Thursday arrested two persons and recovered six stolen mobile phones and three bikes worth Rs 2.5 lakh from them.
The accused Chethan,28 from Mailasandra,and his associate Gourav Kishan,19 from Tyagarajanagar used to steal mobiles from passengers in a crowded buses.
The accused also move around the residential area and steal bikes parked in front of the house .
Based on the complaint lodged by one of the bike owner,the RR Nagar police analyzed the CCTV footage and identified the accused .
The police are now trying to trace the owner of the mobile phones.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West, Sandeep Patil,DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil,ACP, Kodandarama T,PI,Shivanna M,and his crime staff for nabbing the notorious bike lifters a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
