Two juveniles arrested for stabbing cab driver 32 times after 58 hours of chase by Madiwala police

In a series of event two juveniles who were on the run after stabbing a cab driver 32 times to rob 12,000 from him at St john hospital circle on Sunday night .

The injured driver was rushed to the hospital on time and luckily he survived despite severe injuries .

The Madiwala police who rushed to the spot and found a pay in slip found near the cab led them to identify the accused.

With the help of bank,the police managed to get the address of the accused and their mobile numbers which was corroborated their presence at the same area by analyzing the call record details .

A team of police led by PSI,Nagaraj S Shettar , came to know that the duo had boarded Bikaner express from Yeshwanthpura few hours ago.

Mr.Shettar and his team took a flight to Pune while another team of police led by Inspector Paul Priya Kumar began to chase the train by road .

Mr.Shettar team landed at Pune and boarded the train,But could not locate the accused due to heavy rush in the train.

Meanwhile the accused got down at Dahej industrial town in Gujarat to take shelter in the residence of the labourers from their hometown for few days .

The police who learnt about their location through the CDR,went to the industrial town and combed the labourer colony to look for the new comers.Their efforts paid as the accused were soon caught .

The police recovered two knives,two pair of blood stained cloths and Rs.2100 from the accused.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused aged around 17 years hailed from a poor family of Bihar and high school drop outs.

They hatched a plan to visit Bengaluru and commit series of robberies to make quick money.

The cab driver was the first victim and the accused who failed to get enough money decided to escape to out of station and take shelter for few days before returning to the city,

Assistant Commissioner of Police,Sudhir M Hedge,who supervised the operation led the accused to land in jail with the excellent investigation and tireless efforts by the team.

Finally Bengaluru police commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East,A subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP Southeast,Srinath Mahadev Joshi,ACP,Sudhir M Hegde,PI,Paul Priyakumar,PSI,Nagaraj S Shettar,and other crime staff has been appreciated for the exemplary work and commendable job done by them in nabbing the two juveniles after a dramatic chase and a suitable reward will be given to whole team for the tireless efforts done by them he added.
