Six security guards held,burglary gang busted by Pulakeshinagar police recovered valuables worth Rs.14 lakhs .

The Pulakeshinagar police busted a gang and caught a gang of six security guards who had burgled a jewellery shop and made away with the gold and silver valuables worth Rs 14 lakh in January 27.

Senior officer told reporters,a jewellery shop was burgled on January 27th in Pulakeshinagar area in which the miscreants drilled a hole into the jewel shop and made away with valuables.

Based on a complaint by the owner of the jewel shop the Pulakeshinagar police track down the accused and recovered the valuables.

During investigation it was found that One of the prime accused identified as Birendar Sunar,worked as security guard at a jewellery shop on Coles road roped in his five associates working as security guards at different shops .

The accused drilled a hole into the jewel shop and made away with 13.6 kgs of silver articles and 70 grams of gold valuables the team grilled all the accused and based on their statement the team recovered valuables from them.

The police are also on the lookout for others who are on the run he added.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East, Subramanyeswara Rao,DCP East,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,and his whole team for the commendable job done by the Pulakeshinagar inspector and his team a special reward will be given to the team he added.
