Activist files complaint against ASI to SHRC Commission

The case of brutal assault on a physically challenged woman by traffic ASI on last Thursday has now reached state Human rights commission as the city based activist filed a complaint on Monday seeking necessary action against the officer.

In his complaint,Mr.Narasimha Murthy,said that no one has the right to take law into their hands and the accused N Narayana,Assistant Sub Inspector with Halasurgate traffic station has behaved badly by kicking a differently abled woman hitting her from shoe and pulling her hairs.

The accused officer not only assaulted the woman publicly but also dragged her to the station and filed a case of assaulting government servant while on duty.

The police produced her before the court and remanded her to judicial custody.

This is a clear violations of the human rights and the the accused officer should be dealt as per the human rights violation act,he said.The activists were also working on to provide legal help to get her out on bail.
