Winning and losing is part of the game, playing is important.But we should play with a determination to win,Chief Minister,Basavaraj Bommai said in his brief address after distributing the prizes for victorious teams at the conclusion of 70th All India Police Hockey Championship here on Saturday.
Players should never play with an intention to lose,and one should not be afraid of losing.Only those who are not afraid of losing will win.
Sports inculcates discipline,helps personality development and forsters sporting spirit. It applies to life as well,” Bommai said.
“Those who lose should strive to win next time and those who win should maintain the spirit,” the Chief Minister said, lauding the performance of Punjab Police Hockey team which won the championship.
