A dreaded rowdy sheeter involved in many crimes had a narrow escape in the morning as a armed gang were waiting to attack him in a filmy style foiled as the rowdy sheeter took the car reverse and escaped narrowly.
The Begur police have intensified the search for a gang of armed men who attack the car of a rowdy-sheeter in a bid to kill him in broad daylight on DLF road on Sunday .
Senior officer told media persons,A car belonging to the accused intercepted the SUV of JCB Narayana and suddenly the accused armed with lethal weapons charged towards Narayana,driving the car.
Sensing trouble he drove the car in reverse and escaped narrowly.The gang chased the SUV but in vain.
The entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras installed at the scene of the attack.The attack also created fear psychosis among the other road users for some time .
The Begur police have analyzed the CCTV footage to identify the accused.We have some clues on the accused and efforts are on to track them down,a senior officer said.
