Bank officials of co-operative bank booked under cheating for refusing investors to withdraw amount

The Hanumanth Nagar police have registered cheating case against Nagarathna Souharda co-operative limited,on Thursday for refusing to  allow one of its member to withdraw Rs 25 lakh deposits, which he had made over the last two years .

Senior officer told media persons that,The Complainant Krishnamurthy,CM,80,a retired private firm employee and resident of Tata silk farm had invested his life saving in the bank as FD for a term of one year in April 2020.

Even after maturity of the period,the officials not allowed him to withdraw despite repeated visit to the bank.

The officials are giving lame excuses and not a;allowed to withdraw the amount , he told the police in his complaint seeking  legal action against the President and CEO of the bank.

Based on the complaint a cheating case has been registered against the president and CEO of Nagarathna Souharda co-operative limited bank and investigation is on he added.
