The CCB officials on Monday arrested the Managing director of a company for cheating people offering business solutions.
The accused has been identified as,Nischith CS,MD of owned Stake Management Solutions Pvt.Ltd.(e-Profitsure) company and hired call centre employees to lure people .
The staff were asked to offer different business solutions for different people based on their profile.
Using this modus operandi, the accused lured Jainath,a resident of Banashankari and insurance agent offering to get leads from Infosys companies and took Rs.14 lakh as commission for the job.
The accused even created a fake ID in the name of HR of Infosys to gain his trust.
Based on the complaint lodged by Jainath,the
Cyber Crime police tracked down Nischith and arrested him .
Inquiries revealed that the accused had cheated many people across the state offering loans, real estate deals, tax consultation and financial advice and business leads for insurance companies and agents .
The Koramangala and Malleshwaram police have booked two cases against the accused earlier for cheating .
The accused was even booked by Kalpetta police in Wayanad in Kerala for a similar cheating case and we are probing all the cases a detailed investigation will be done by CCB said a senior officer.
