CCB cops seize narcotic substances worth Rs 1 Crore,arrest four Peddlers including 2 Iranian nationals

The CCB sleuths busted one more drug racket and arrested four persons including two iranian nationals who are peddling hydro ganja to their clients in the city .

The arrested have been identified as Javad Rostampour Ghotb Aldin,34, a resident of Eagleton Golf Village in Bidadi,Mohammadi Barogh,35,of Kaverinagar,both from Tehran in Iran,Mohammed Mohsin Uz Zaman alias Mohsin, 31,of an apartment in Hegdenagar,and Mohsin Khan,30,of Saunders Road in Frazer Town.

Senior officer told media persons,Inspector Deepak received a credible information about the selling of drugs in DJ Halli area that four persons are indulged in selling drugs and are waiting in a car.

Based on a tip off,that the accused are selling drugs in DJ halli,a team of CCB officials swung into action and intercepted the car belonging to the accused and upon search recovered LSD strips and 13 hydro ganja plants and special equipments like LED lights,heaters and temperature regulators used to grow the drugs worth Rs.1 crore seized from them.

During investigation when the team grilled all the four about the source of drugs and the accused confessed to the crime and spilled the beans that he is growing hybrid Marijuana in his villa.

Based on their information,the police team raided the Eagleton resort villa in bidadi which the accused had rented out to grow hybrid Marijuana, Sandeep Patil,Joint Commissioner of Police, said .

A detailed investigation by the team the accused revealed that they sourced the hydro ganja seeds and special equipment to grow,from dark net and installed in the villa to grow.

The prime accused,Javed Rustumpor,was earlier arrested by NCB in the NDPS case from Yeshwanthpur police earlier, but he continued after coming out on bail .

Javed along with his associate Babak Shimohammadi are from Iran came to the city on study visas and overstayed in the city to peddle drugs after their visa expired.

The accused ganged up with local peddlers Mohsin Uzzama and Mohsin Khan to sell hydro ganja which they would sell at Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 per gram.

The accused have been taken into custody for further investigations, Mr. Patil, said.

A case under NDPS Act and Foreigners Act has been registered against the accused and a massive manhunt is on to nab their associates involved in peddling drugs in the city he added.
