The CCB unit of Anti-Narcotics Wing officials busted another international drug racket and arrested a 38-year-old Nigerian National who is preparing MDMA crystals at the lab in his rented house in Electronic city,pedaling across the country and even to New zealand.
Commissioner of police,Kamal Pant,told media persons first ever big operation was conducted very secretly by our Joint CP Crime,Sandeep Patil and his team who swoop down on gathering information on the Narco lab.
Based on a tip off,a team of officials headed by DCP Crime-2,BS Angadi under the leadership of ACP,Anti-Narcotics Wing,KC Gautham and his team swung into action and raided the house in Chamundi layout in electronic city.
A team of police raided the house and arrested David Joao Malave.The police seized 4 kilograms of MDMA crystals worth Rs.2 Crore along with the harmful chemicals and lab equipment which he used to prepare the synthetic drugs.
David along with his associates purchase harmful chemicals online and even at the chemical shops in the city to prepare the drugs.
The man was operating the lab in a rented house along with his accomplices who are now absconding.
The MDMA crystals they would sell to the local peddlers and also to their contacts outside the city through courier.
The accused would use soles of the shoes to conceal the crystals and use the service of private couriers to smuggle the drugs.
Using similar Modus Operandi the accused used to smuggle the drugs to New Zealand and other countries.
Following the raid, large quantities of raw materials such as acetone, hypo phosphorous acid, plain acid,sodium hydroxide, etc were found in the house.
The police have also seized measuring cylinder plastic,heating mantle,flask boiling,face mask,PH measure stick,hose pipe,panel,and shoes used to transport the crystals.
David has been taken into custody to ascertain his drug network while efforts are on to track down his associates who are on the run.
