BBMP Chief Commissioner,Gaurav Gupta along with Chief Engineer,Vishwanath,executive engineer and others visited SC Road 1st cross (subway road towards Kempegowda bus station) in Gandhinagar ward in BBMP limits and inspected the area where the road was cut will be restored.
He instructed the officials to fix the potholes on roads in Gandhinagar ward limits swiftly.
Gaurav Gupta inspected the pothole filling work at Gandhinagar ward-94 and instructed the officials to identify potholes across the ward and fill them swiftly to ensure smooth movement of vehicles.
The potholes on Tulasi Thota,Sheshadripuram, Neharu Nagar,Lakshmipura and other roads in Gandhinagar ward require four loads of asphalt while as per the indent to hot mix plant,one load of asphalt is being supplied daily.
Accordingly,the one load of asphalt received today is being used to fill the 65-metre long cut road (by Water Board)at SC road 1st cross.
The remaining roads will be fixed immediately, Chief Engineer,Vishwanath informed Gaurav Gupta.
The Chief Commissioner said that pothole filling work will benefit citizens and vehicle riders.
The potholes must be filled keeping in mind the quality, as per the regulations.
The pothole filling teams must be utilised properly and potholes must be fixed immediately, he added.
