Two bike-borne men attacked and robbed a motorcycle belonging to a food (swiggy)delivery boy in the outskirts of the city on Sunday night .
The victim,K Murthy,who sustained injuries in the attack got treated in the hospital before approaching the police on Monday.
Murthy,who is working with swiggy from past nine months,returned home late in the evening after delivering food.
While he was riding the bike on Chandapura main road near Yellamma temple,two men on a motorcycle approached him.
Before he could realize the pillion rider kicked his bike and as a result Murthy lost control and fell on the ground.
The pillion rider jumped from the bike he was riding,picked up Murthy’s bike and the duo sped away.
Murthy who was shocked and injured managed to recover and later with the help of passers by taken to the hospital .
Based on the complaint the Anekal police have taken up a case of robbery and efforts are on to track down the accused said senior officer.
