I am Ready to Work for the People 24/7 With the Motto of Sabkha Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayas – Meenakshi Lekhi

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi participated
in the Jan Ashirwad Yatra here today organized by the Delhi state Bharatiya Janata Party to directly
interact with the people and to understand their issues first-hand and then try and resolve them at the
earliest.

Speaking at a press conference after her massive people outreach in areas of central Delhi and others
Smt. Lekhi said that the people of the country were and will always remain the top priority for her party
and her.
“India’s people are at the top for us all and we are committed to working for them, that is what today’s
message of Jan Ashirvad Yatra is all about. We are working towards the goal of upliftment of the people
and through this yatra, we all have renewed our commitment towards that. Yesterday even the PM
talked about Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and also Sabka Prayas. That means we all have to contribute
towards achieving this goal, whoever has responsibility must fulfil that. We must do what is our
responsibility towards the people."

“This outreach via the Jan Ashirvad Yatra has helped me understand issues better directly from those
who are suffering and will help us address them. Ministers are going to the people to seek their
blessings. This yatra will send a message that the BJP-led government has given representation to
women, weaker sections, and various communities.,” she added.

Smt. Lekhi visited the famous Hanuman Mandir before starting the yatra to seek blessings. Speaking to
reporters she lauded the role of the central government in managing the Covid situation in the country
and said vaccination for all remains the government’s top priority.  “Today before coming for the Yatra, I
visited a COVID-19 vaccination centre at Navyug School, Mandir Marg, and reviewed the arrangements.
A big salute to all Covid warriors. As PM Narendra Modi Ji said, the vaccine remains the strongest
weapon in our fight against the pandemic.”
Our government acted very proactively at the start itself and asked Indian companies to make our own
vaccine which helped us a lot later on. The world got the vaccine in December 2020 and in just a month
in January we were able to start vaccination in our country. This speaks of the preparedness and
farsightedness of our government, she added.

The four-day yatra starting today will continue till 19th and Smt. Lekhi will be addressing and meeting as
many people in the coming days as possible. The Minister of State for External Affairs Smt. Lekhi will be
part of the yatra in New Delhi, Chandni Chowk, East Delhi, and some parts of northeast Delhi Lok Sabha
constituencies. The Yatra will pass through all seven Lok Sabha constituencies and will cover 107 km.
