Group of miscreants Ransacked restaurant for not allowing them to smoke in Bengaluru

A group of six miscreants Ransacked restaurant and damaged vehicles parked outside the restaurant and beat up the staff for not allowing them to smoke inside the restaurant on the table reserved for families.

Senior officers,with the talaghattapura police inspector and staff visited the spot and after inspecting the spot and collecting stock of the situation.

Senior officer told reporters,Angered over refusing to allow them smoke at the table reserved for families,a group of six men ransacked the premises,and beat up the staff and damaged the vehicles parked outside the premises in Banashankari 6th stage on Saturday.

Owner of the restaurant,Sujith Krishnappa,filed a complaint with the Talaghattapura police on Sunday.

In his complaint,Sujith said that a group of six men came to his restaurant to dine at around 8 pm.Since they were smoking,the staff refused the table stating that smoking is not allowed .

The group had an argument with the staff stating that they are localities and how dare the hotel staff refuse the table and service.

After heated arguments the group left the place only to return three hours later.

Soon after entering the premises,the accused beat up staff ransacked the premises and even damaged the vehicles parked outside,threatening that they would not allow them to run the hotel .

After ransacking and assaulting the staff the group left the premises warning them with dire consequences.

The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed in the restaurant.

The Talaghattapura police have taken up a case and has launched a manhunt for the gang and further investigation is on and all the miscreants will be nabbed soon he added.
