Woman held for killing husband over drunken brawl in Bengaluru :

The JJ Nagar police have arrested a 36 year old BBMP pourakarmika for stamping her husband to death over drunken brawl at her house on Monday.

The accused has been identified as Padma,36,a BBMP pourakarmika by profession.

Senior officers with local police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area, Sniffer dog with finger print experts were pressed into action.

Senior officer inspected the crime scene and collected preliminary information about the murder it was revealed that the deceased Mohan,41 worked as garbage van driver at BBMP and living with Padma,36 and three children.

The children were not at home when the incident occurred.

Investigation revealed that Mohan is a Chronic alcoholic and was treated at de-addiction centre for six months and discharged recently.

However he continued to consume alcohol and used to harass his wife demanding money for drinks.The Couple used to have frequent fights over this.

On Monday morning Mohan came home drunk and started demanding money.Enraged padma pushed him on the ground and stamped on his neck.

Minutes later mohan rendered unconscious and worried Padma called her neighbour for help .

The accused said to have committed the offence in a fit of rage and later called neighbours for help to shift him to hospital after he found unconcious.He was rushed to hospital where he declared as brought dead.

The JJ Nagar police have taken Padma into custody and are questioning her to ascertain the exact reason and a case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on.
