A Second year BE,Student committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of the Bengaluru Institute of Technology college in VV Puram on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Jayanth Reddy 20,year old.
Senior officer said,A student was found dead in his college campus on Monday.
As soon as the incident was reported VV Puram police inspector and staff rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
Preliminary investigation says,he committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of the Bengaluru Institute of Technology in VV Puram.
The student was seriously injured,he was rushed to KIMS hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
The team found a suicide note in the campus where the student body was lying in pool of blood.
College Principal,said,Jayanth was a intelligent student who has scored 91 marks in Diploma,and he was very active in studies what led him to commit suicide we are still in shock the college principal said reporters.
A case has been taken up by VV Puram police and are investigating further to ascertain reason behind the death what led a intelligent student commit suicide.
Many students staged a protest against the management to postpone the exams and said that they should give gap in between to study and prepare for exam later the VV Puram police staff tried to pacify the students to call off the protest and maintain peace.
