Inspector in the dock for taking bribe to foist false case;

The Indiranagar police inspector,Ramamurthy B is reportedly missing from work for the last one week after ACB filed an FIR against him charging him under prevention of corruption act.

The accused inspector,Ramamurthy B had allegedly taken Rs 10 lakh bribe to file a B report in a case.

The accused had taken side in a case pertaining to Indiranagar club where fight between two groups alleging assault and misuse of funds resulted in complaint and counter complaint.

The accused officer Ramamurthy had filed an FIR against Indiranagar club member and Former IPS officer BNS Reddy.

Mr.Reddy approached high court and got the FIR quashed .

Reddy also complained to ACB,that Ramamurthy had taken bribe to file FIR against him and also taken membership in return of the favour.

Based on the complaint,the ACB officials sought permission from the government.And filed FIR against Ramamurthy B under the prevention of corruption Act and further investigation is on.
