Dear Eminent Journalist, We heartily welcome you to the Press conference of the launch of – the first of its kind Bachelor of Vocation in Public Services Course Shree Vishwakarma Skill University, the first government Skill University of the Country in collaboration with Alternative Learning Systems Ltd, the largest IAS Coaching network of the country will announce the launch of first of its kind B-Voc in Public Services Course in press club of India on 28th September 2020. Background of the program ALS in association Shri Vishwakarma Skill University a state university established under Act 25 of 2016, Government of Haryana has brought in vogue a graduation course for students interested in administrative services and government jobs. The initiative is to prepare the students from state of Haryana and rest of India for Union Public Service Commission and State Public Services, commission Exams, Administrative & Other Government jobs in its 3 Year Program termed as B.Voc. (Public Services). The effort is to provide a graduation degree along with training and coaching for the aspired government jobs with focus on All India Services/Central/State Civil Services. ALS and SVSU term it as “Graduation beyond your dreams”. ALS has future plan to establish a VSAT center at Gurugram, Haryana & later convert it into a reputed College for Sill Development affiliated to SVSU.
The Vice Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarama Skill University Shri Raj Nehru briefed the Media about SVSU and said that the SVSU is India’s first Government skill University and affiliating university for all universities and colleges of Haryana in the domain of skills. It is a State university established under Act 25 of 2016.
The objective to establish this Skill University is to facilitate jobs including government jobs like civil services particularly for youth of Haryana and promote skill, entrepreneurship development, skill-based education and research in the emerging areas.
The Managing Director of Alternative Learning Systems, Shri Jojo Mathew briefed about ALS. He said that the ALS is one of India’s finest learning institutions established with an aim to develop as the final destination for all IAS TRAINING PROGRAMMES. What makes ALS standout is its core philosophy of bringing Learning to Education.
Shri Manish K Gautam, Chief Executive Director of ALS briefed about the Unique B-Voc in Public Services course being rolled out by SVSU in association with ALS. He said that this graduation program will also prepare the youths with life skills to face the real world with confidence. Continuous interaction with academia, soft skills trainer, bureaucrats, corporate leaders, development sector professionals and industries at ALS and SVSU will help the students evolve and develop life skills.
