Highlights:
- 430 Participants will perform on the day: Vocal Team 170 with 180 participants, 126 Teams in Dance category with 250 participants.
- 3475 participants and 1952 teams have participated in this year K-Pop Contest
- Regional round in 15 cities: Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore, Chennai, Dehradun, Guntur, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Lucknow, Itanagar, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai and Imphal.
- After New Delhi, Bangalore, Patna Pune, Lucknow, Itanagar, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai and Imphal will have their regional round till 07th July 2019.
- Participation Number increased from 515 in 2015 to 3475 in 2019.
- Regional winners will compete at the final round held in Delhi on 29th July 2019
- The Final winner of the 2019 LG K-Pop Contest will represent India and compete in Changwon K-Pop World Festival, South Korea.
Note* KCCI is also running K-POP Academy which will last on 28th June 2019. 50 selective Students are undergoing K-POP vocal and dance training.
