Krishnayan a story of unconditional love narrated through kathak through kathak to presented by Anjana Welfare Society on 17 and 18 January.
It will performed by two eminent kathak dancers from Delhi.
Ms. Ragini Maharaj, granddaughter of Pt . Birju Maharaj as Radha and Ms. Maya K Nigam as Meera.
This is conceptualized by Maya K Nigam .she is disciple of Guru Pradipto Kumar from Lucknow Gharana.
Ms. Ragini commented about this being a unique concept where she is performing as Radha in Krishna’s town.
We are going to depict a beautiful story of of Radha and Meera’s love towards Krishna.
Since I am a devoted follower of Krishna, I feel fortunate I gotten a chance to perform in Mathura.
