The Lokayukta officials on Monday conducted search operations at KSDL office premises to ascertain the alleged irregularities by the Managing Director and his team .
The raid carried based on the complaint filed by the Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) employees union demanded Lokayukta probe against senior officials for “indulging in financial irregularities.
GR Shivashankar,President of KSDL employees’union, said senior officials had conspired to purchase raw materials by paying Rs.300 Crore, which is more than the actual price.
The officials led by Superintendent of Police,KN,Ashok, searched the premises questioned the officials and verifying the documents to ascertain the alleged irregularities committed.
Based on the findings,a report will be submitted to the Lokayukta for further action said a officer.
