CM Jagan is coming to Malikipuram in the afternoon.. Let’s all the members of our village association go and thank the CM. Everyone except the elderly and pregnant women in this group should come. I know who is sick. They told us to bring 200 people from our community. We said we will bring more than that. Call if you have any questions.

Eenadu-Rajamahendravaram, Newstoday-P.Gannavaram, Malikipuram: During CM Jagan’s visit to the districts, movement of Dwakra women to prove their strength has become common recently. CM Jagan came to Malikipuram on Wednesday afternoon as he was invited to the wedding of Rajolu MLA Rapaka Varaprasada Rao’s son Venkataram who won on behalf of Janasena. After landing the helicopter, one has to drive about 1.5 km to reach the venue in Kathimanda. Along this route, the officials have issued a decree to forcibly bring Dwakra women and Anganwadi staff and welcome them with placards such as ‘Thank you CM Sir’, ‘Maa Pravannu Nuvve Jagan’ etc. All those who came in the sun… If they begged the MLA’s house, why should they not be turned away? Within a few minutes of the CM going back to the helipad from the wedding venue, everything turned upside down.

* Traffic restrictions were imposed since the morning that the CM was coming. Iron barricades were erected on both sides of the road for about 1.50 km and the shops were closed.

* CM Jagan, who reached Malikipuram at 3.44 in the evening, went to the stage and blessed the bride and groom, Tanmayi and Venkataram. Five minutes later they reached the helipad. For 40 minutes he spoke to many disabled people and petitioners and assured them of solving their problems. Left for Tadepalli at 5.40.
